Generate and edit a draft
Manage drafts, saving and generation recovery.

Generate a draft
Open the review and use available generation controls. Review the result before approval: an AI draft can contain inaccuracies and is not yet a public reply.
Edit the text
Correct tone, language and facts in the editor. Avoid unverified promises or personal data. Editing remains separate from approval.
Save a draft
Use Save and wait for confirmation before leaving. Saving does not publish to Google: return to the review to verify the saved text.
Queued generation
Read the status and any next attempt time. A draft being prepared does not require repeated clicks; wait for completion or the offered recovery.
Retry generation
Retry only when the screen permits, respecting waits and limits. Regenerating a draft is different from resending a reply to Google.
Paused generation
If generation is paused, read the reason and check location access or setup. Repeatedly changing rules does not repair an operational restriction.
Attempts exhausted
When attempts are exhausted and no recovery is available, contact support with the displayed status and code. Do not recreate the review or location.
Unsaved changes
Save and verify the result before navigating away. If the connection fails, check the saved draft before overwriting it with new text.
